Recovery Center for Hazardous Waste

Intended for indoor use, this recovery center has a capacity of 58 liters (15.3 US gal) per compartment. The design of each compartment is adapted to the hazardous waste it receives. The included graphic customization ensures efficient sorting of materials by users. Designed and manufactured in Quebec, this recovery center is perfect for companies looking for a safe place to store their hazardous household waste.

MODULAR SYSTEM – The modular design of the MultiPlus Plus allows it to evolve with the current recovery program, by adding or grouping categories of materials. Each module is completely independent and can be attached to the others.

Each module is front unloading, but the materials are deposited through the openings placed on the top (choice of opening: slotted, round, square). A rubber border around the opening makes the product safer.

MATERIAL – The construction material is sheet steel with 50% recycled content and is recyclable at the end of its life. The sheet is finished with electrostatic paint (baked paint) for great durability. The bin uses 18 gauge sheet metal, except for the bottom which is 14 gauge. 58 liter (15.3 US gal) plastic liners are inserted inside each of the compartments. 26″ x 36″ bags can be used inside each of the liners. The liners, which have a lip at their top, are made of plastic with 35% recycled content. Their proper insertion into the compartment is facilitated by two guides attached to the bottom.

DIMENSIONS – The exterior dimensions of a module are 13.5″ (wide) x 16″ (deep) x 33″ (high).

FRONT DOOR – The front opening of each compartment is an 11.625″ x 29″ door, secured with a full-height stainless steel piano hinge. The hinge positioning allows the door to open fully. The doors stay closed with magnets, and an optional lock prevents unauthorized access. A recessed handle makes opening the door easy.

REAR DISPLAY PANEL (OPTIONAL) – A rear panel is available as an option. Pricing is determined by customer specification.

CLASP (optional) – A clasp is available as an option, and can be installed on all openings.

CUSTOM VISUALS INCLUDED – For display, the use of 3M vinyl stickers with a Teflon finish allows for easy change of posters as needed. The glue used is suitable for metal and electrostatic paint, so that it is just difficult enough to remove the stickers (preventing breakage by users), while allowing their removal in the event that they need to be changed.
