You may be interested to know that NI Products Inc. is running a Waste Wise program that is the first of its kind in North America.

Since 1993, our company has been promoting a vision for sustainable business. For instance, the majority of our products are made in Québec using recycled plastic. This approach not only supports the local economy but helps reduce the carbon footprint associated with natural resource exploitation, manufacturing and transportation.

In 2006, in order to keep expanding its line of responsible products, NI Corporation decided to promote social inclusion by inviting a trade school – L’École Entreprise Formétal Inc. – to participate in its production process. Metal components used in the assembly of our finished products are manufactured in this Montréal-based facility dedicated to training young adults who happen to be underprivileged and/or lacking in formal education. Students receive a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing their employability.

Recognizing not only that waste management has become a key component of the environmental challenge of our century, but that we have the means to influence positive social change, we are launching a new venture to promote trading and sharing, one which we hope you will find it as inspiring as we do!

Based on a proven concept within our business, this sustainability and social responsibility program promotes the circular economy while focusing on the reuse component of it. The program involves diverting products, particularly those we produce or distribute, prior to the disposal phase in which they are recycled or dumped – by repurchasing, reconditioning and redistributing them to establishments such as yours, thereby creating a second life cycle for these products.

So, by buying from us, you will be contributing to our cooperative conservation program and giving organizations the chance to return used equipment and/or purchase second-hand items at a lower cost.

Furthermore, if you join our program, you will benefit from the most efficient source-separated waste collection possible, through a donation based on your specific needs.

View our program page or contact us to learn more. We look forward to having you onboard!
